Alright, we all know my photography skills are horrendous at best. Enter Michael Beckerman! This is the real talent when it comes to great photos from the In The Cut series. I met Michael last Tuesday and upon chatting about my lack of camera skills he offered some wonderful advice (and encouragement). He told me that you just have to get out there and make mistakes because our mistakes are the best teacher we will ever have. From those mistakes are lessons you can never learn in any class. So he encouraged me to keep experimenting and to never shy away from making those beginner mistakes. I thought that was the best advice because it wasn’t technical, it was just practical.
With that said, I will not show you anymore of my “mistakes.” Let’s take a break from that and admire the wonderful talent of Michael Beckerman instead!
